HOW TO BACK OUR FILM ON KICKSTARTER

Before you start, make sure that you’re logged into a Kickstarter account. If you don’t have one yet, you can sign up for one here.

Now, to pledge to a project, simply follow the steps below:

      1. Head to our project page https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/edwinfontanez/one-last-song-for-my-father-a-short-film and click the “Back this project” button, or open the Reward tab, to see the available rewards.

          • If you don’t wish to receive a reward but still want to support the project, select the “Pledge without a reward” tier and enter your desired pledge amount.

      1. Select your reward, and if it involves shipping, be sure to choose the appropriate country from the drop-down menu before clicking the “Pledge” button.

          • When a reward is digital there will be no shipping option.

      1. Click,“Continue” to go to the Pledge summary page. Here you can double-check your pledge details and the shipping country.

    1. When ready, enter your payment details and check the box confirming that you understand that rewards aren’t guaranteed. To complete your pledge, click the “Pledge” button.

        • Please note: It is not possible to split a pledge between multiple credit cards. You’ll need to provide one debit or credit card per pledge.

Once your pledge has gone through you should receive a confirmation email to confirm that you are now a backer of the project. If the project is successfully funded, your card will be charged when it reaches its deadline.

If you didn’t reach a “Thank you!” confirmation page and/or you didn’t receive a confirmation email (title: “You just backed [Project Name]”), it’s likely that your pledge did not go through and you may want to try again. If you continue to have issues, please contact us and we’ll try to assist.

COMO APOYAR NUESTRO PROYECTO EN KICKSTARTER

Antes de comenzar asegúrate de que estás conectado en una cuenta de Kickstarter. SI NO TIENES UNA, inscríbite aquí.

Para dar tu promesa al proyecto, simplemente sigue estos pasos:

      1. Dirígite a nuestra página https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/edwinfontanez/one-last-song-for-my-father-a-short-film. Haz click en el botón “Back this project”, o abre la pestaña “Reward tab”, para ver los incentivos disponibles.
          • Si no deseas recibir incentivos pero aún deseas contribuir al proyecto, selecciona el nivel “Pledge without a reward” y escoge la cantidad de donación deseada.
      2. Selecciona tu incentivo, y si envuelve envio por correo, asegúrate de escoger el país apropiado en el menu antes de hacer click en el botón de “Pledge”.
          • Si el incentivo es digital, no necesita opción de envio.

      1. Haz click en “Continue” para llegar a la página de Pledge summary. Aquí podrás confirmar los detalles de tu donación y el país de envío.
      2. Cuando estés listo(a), añade los detalles de pago y haz check en el espacio para confirmar que entiendes que los incentivos that rewards aren’t guaranteed. Para completar tu promesa, haz click en el botón “Pledge”.
          • Nota: No es posible dividir una promesa en múltiples tarjetas de crédito. Necesitarías proveer una tarjeta de debit o tarjeta de crédito por promesa.

    Una vez tu promesa haya sido confirmada, recibirás una confirmación de que ya eres un patrocinador del proyecto. Si el proyecto es exitosamente fundado, tu tarjeta será cargada una vez que alcance la fecha límite.

    Si no recibes la página de confirmación “Thank you!” o no recibiste un email de confirmación (title: “You just backed [Project Name]”), seguramente tu promesa no se concretó y posiblemente tendrás que someterla nuevamente.
